Volunteer team: Events volunteer assignments     Sorry, you must be an activated volunteer and logged in to be able to sign up Volunteer Opportunity    Activity Coordinator Generic Volunteer Title Events Description What if you don’t have time for regular Team meetings? No problem! Every month we produce or participate in a variety of events both at the Center and away from that need volunteer support. All you have to do to volunteer for an event is sign up at the VolunteerCenter or call the Program Coordinator and you will be contacted with all the details. Our events always fall into two categories: - Center Events: Events sponsored by the Center at the Center. - Outside Events: Events at other locations that are supported, but not necessarily organized by the Center. Time Commitment Volunteers will be scheduled into shifts, usually lasting 2-3 hours, depending on the specific event details. All information for an event, like time, place, and what to wear will be listed at the VolunteerCenter. In addition, all who sign up for an event will receive details by email or phone. Committee Type Available to all active volunteers Eligibility This Volunteer opportunity is available to 'Active Volunteers' only. Volunteers Needed Open Activity Location Volunteer Requirements Open Committee • Project oriented • Detail oriented • Good communication/people skills • Ability to work as part of a team Specific Duties • Greeters • Ushers • Ticket takers • Help collect donations at entry gates • Decoration • Food/beverage servers Training Requirements Any volunteer who has completed the Center’s volunteer orientation may sign up for events
